Part 1: immigration drives unemployment and undercuts wages in the USA
Let’s face it, immigrants over the past 300 years swarmed this pristine continent with reckless abandon. They crushed the Indians and their way of life. Immigrants built mines, factories, cities and constructed a gargantuan civilization.
“We are a nation of immigrants,” shout those in favor of relentless immigration.
However, you never hear, “We are a nation of 300 million immigrants on our way to 400 million and beyond that, we’re headed to 500 million and then, 600 million. What exactly will we do with 600 million people trying to eat, drink and grow food for survival as resources such as water and oil dwindle?”
NOBODY LOOKS DOWN THE ROAD TO THE END RESULT OF RELENTLESS IMMIGRATION
In the winter publication of The Social Contract, www.thesocialcontract.com , notable economist Edwin S. Rubenstein, president of ESR Research, wrote, “The Economic Case for a Moratorium.” Vol.XX, No.2, Winter 2009-10, The Social Contract Quarterly.
In it Rubenstein said of earlier immigration, “In economic terms, immigration was a win-win proposition—benefiting immigrants as well as natives. Our immigration policy reflected this…until the 1920s there were no limits on immigration. Eventually the frontier vanished and American lives became overcrowded. Our physical capacity to absorb new arrivals eroded. Immigration became a zero sum game: the gains accruing to immigrants were more than offset by losses suffered by natives.”
Today, in March 2010, over 20 million Americans cannot procure a job, but the U.S. Congress imports over 100,000 legal immigrants every 30 days. At the same time, 35 million, yes, you read that number correctly, 35,000,000 Americans subsist on food stamps because they cannot secure a job. CBS’ Katie Couric reported that 13.4 million American children live in poverty.
Yet, as we import millions of immigrants, they record even more children.
“In 2000, native-born Americans averaged 13 births per 1,000 population, while immigrants averaged more than 28 births per thousands,” said Rubenstein.
Thus, U.S. population projections show this country adding 100 million people in the next 25 years and hit another 38 million in 40 years to reach 438 million by 2050. Does anyone possess an ounce of fright or even terror at those numbers—given the problems we already suffer in 2010 as to water, energy, toxic air pollution, gridlock and crowded cities?
THE CRISIS OF 2007, 2009 IN JOBS
“This gargantuan rate of increase since 1965, [100 million people added to USA in 40 years], has led to an immigration disaster that adds an immigration dimension to every public issue—government debts, health care, the housing bubble, crime, school overcrowding and cost of living,” said Rubenstein. “Nowhere is the immigration employment more evident than in employment. Nearly eight million jobs vanished since December 2007. Economists estimated 100,000 new jobs must be created each month just to absorb new labor force entrants.”
Tell me how we can put to work 20 million unemployed American workers by only adding 100,000 jobs monthly when we add 100,000 immigrants every 30 days. As a math teacher, I can tell you unequivocally, it doesn’t add up; it cannot be done; and in the end—it means we are screwing ours own citizens.
“In 2008, 1.1 million new immigrants and 400,000 ‘temporary workers’ were allowed to enter and take up residence in the United States,” said Rubenstein. “Most will receive work permits and look for jobs. This translates to 125,000 new immigrant job seekers per month, 29,000 per week and 4,100 per day. Implication: one year’s worth of legal immigration could easily take most of the 650,000 jobs the Obama Administration claims were saved or created by its stimulus package.”
THE WISDOM OF A TOTAL IMMIGRATION MORATORIUM
“Perhaps the most compelling reason for a moratorium is to protect native workers from job and wage losses,” said Rubenstein. “Economics 101 teaches that an increase in the supply of labor will reduce the price or wage of labor. Immigrants accounted for nearly 50 percent of the U.S. labor force growth between 1996 and 2000 and as much as 60 percent of the increase between 2000 and 2004.”
In the end, you cannot continue adding workers for less and less jobs. You cannot expect to raise the standard of living for American workers by lowering the wages to reflect the growing numbers of immigrants competing for jobs. You cannot maintain the American Dream if 10 percent of Americans cannot secure a job. Thus, we need a total moratorium on all immigration to give American workers jobs, homes and the ability to sustain America as a viable and sustainable civilization.

SLAVERY OF BLACKS IN 1860 TO SLAVERY OF MEXICANS IN 2010

The march on Washington DC this past Sunday by illegal aliens and their advocates promoted illegality to legality, criminal activity to lawful manifestation and the U.S. Constitution to the trash heap of history. The march bet that crime does pay and that criminals deserve citizenship and that lawful American citizens must pay for everything to accept criminal illegal aliens in America. What will be that cost? The Heritage Foundation projected a cost of between $3 trillion to $5 trillion depending on the final count of illegal aliens that gain amnesty. If the total hits 25 to 30 million as some sources state, that cost would rise concurrently.
What caused the march? Who stands at fault? What will be done? How will it end up?
Look to the past four presidents and the last four congresses to find the evil, the dirt, the duplicity of men and women avoiding their oaths of office.
SLAVERY IN 1860 OF AMERICAN BLACKS AND ITS ULTIMATE CONSEQUECES: CIVIL WAR
In 1860, Mark Twain wrote, “A man didn't invent the law; it is merely his business to obey it and keep still; join the universal conspiracy and keep so still that he shall deceive his fellow-conspirators into imagining that he doesn't know that the law exists. It is what we all do--we that know. I am speaking of the lie of silent assertion; we can tell it without saying a word, and we all do it--we that know. In the magnitude of its territorial spread it is one of the most majestic lies that civilizations make it their sacred and anxious care to guard and watch and propagate.
“For instance. It would not be possible for a humane and intelligent person to invent a rational excuse for slavery; yet you will remember that in the early days of the emancipation agitation in the North, the agitators got but small help or countenance from any one. Argue and plead and pray as they might, they could not break the universal stillness that reigned, from pulpit and press all the way down to the bottom of society--the clammy stillness created and maintained by the lie of silent assertion--the silent assertion that there wasn't anything going on in which humane and intelligent people were interested.”

Back in 1860, the lie of silent assertion caused a states-rights rebellion in the south, and ultimately the question of slavery cost America 620,000 men and women in the Civil War that followed.
Silent assertion continues as the U.S. Congress and president, “Lie, obfuscate, suppress, ignore and deny a social wrong or condition.” While they ignored it during the entire process of forming this nation, it boiled over for decades until it received attention and resolve in the Civil War. At horrible cost!
Final reality: slavery proves wrong, immoral, unethical and cannot and does not fit into the U.S. Constitution.
Why did it persist in America? Money, big money and more money for the landed gentry, the few rich and the elites!
MEXICANS AS SLAVES IN 21ST CENTURY AMERICA
Today, the same slave holders, American employers of illegal aliens, operate in silent-assertion everywhere across America where over 20 million illegal aliens, modern day slaves, toil at wages that allow them only to eat and house themselves. They live in the shadows, not part of America, like the Blacks back in 1860, but used and abused at will. Are they happy? Not really, but they are happier than living in their third world countries where entrenched poverty manifests so much that they cannot enjoy the barest of menial accommodations such as toilets, clean water and a decent life.
But, much like the silent-assertion that created the Civil War in 1860, those 21st century slaves marching on Washington DC last Sunday, represent a still greater danger to the breakdown of the United States. They demand lawful access to this nation’s educational, medical, Social Security, housing, food stamps, insurance, welfare and other systems through their unlawful actions. In other words, turn this country into the same country they fled.
In a report in the Denver Post, March 21, 2010, “The war next door”, Charles Bowden reported that 17,000 Mexican civilians lost their lives in Mexico via the drug cartels in the past 36 months. Mexico represents a failed state in the Western Hemisphere, just like Haiti.
If the U.S. Congress passes another amnesty like it did in 1986, it will unleash a legal accommodation of 20 to 30 million people with no allegiance to or investment in the United States of America, our culture, language or lawful way of life. Once initiated, this flood of humanity will inundate every level and every sector of the every community in America. It will profoundly change what America was into something that Americans don’t want to become: another Mexico; another third world country.
POVERTY BEGETS POVERTY, ILLITERACY BEGETS ILLITERACY, LAWLESSNESS BEGETS MORE LAWLESSNESS

PLACE TERROR IN PERSPECTIVE: FIX IMMIGRATION WITH MORATORIUM

The new Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown last week said, “The American people are tired of this Congress shoving a health care bill down their throats that they have demonstrated they do not want.”
Last week, U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, (D-NY), introduced yet another illegal alien amnesty bill that mirrors the one Americans defeated in June 2007. Again, another bill jammed down America’s throat by another senator that does not represent the American people! Why do New York voters continue voting an old, worn-out horse back into his stall when he’s clearly been run over by younger horses time and time again? Beats me!
Because of the speed of communications, today, we discover terrorists within our midst with seconds of their: 1. Suicide bombings. 2. Plans for bombing us.

Beyond 9/11, terror in the United States starts with its own drunk drivers that kill half of the 43,000 people on our highways annually. That’s over 10 times each year more killed than in the 9/11 debacle. Since 9/11, that’s a whopping 387,000 Americans killed in highway accidents.
"Undressing the Terrorist Threat", by Paul Campos, a University of Colorado professor and the other, "Crunching the Risk Numbers" by Nate Silver, a political forecaster, said, “Consider traffic accidents. All sorts of measures could be taken to reduce the current rate of automotive carnage from 120 fatalities a day—from lowering speed limits, to requiring mechanisms that make it impossible to start a car while drunk, to even more restrictive measures. Some of these measures may well be worth taking. But the point is that at present we seem to consider 43,000 traffic deaths per year an acceptable cost to pay for driving big fast cars." From all causes, they report that 6700 people die daily in the USA.
That report doesn’t mention the fact that American made cigarettes kill 400,000 Americans annually and have been for the past 30 years. In American self-chosen early death, that equals 12 million deaths in Marlboro Country! Finally, doctors prescribe drugs that kill another 105,000 Americans annually. You might call America a self-inflicted killing zone.
IMMIGRATION INVASION MORE DANGEROUS BY FAR
Washington DC writer Don Collins said, “What truly was not apparent in their calculations was the growing migrations of Muslims into Europe and the US, which bring not only potential terrorists but also a religion which simply does not in any way square with our predominant culture. Again these authors could dismiss the raw Muslim numbers as low, compared to the killings committed by drug lords both here and in Mexico. However, just the sheer immensity of overall immigration numbers of people of all races and creeds both legal and illegal into the USA represents a major source of true concern.
“Bottom line: We need an immediate moratorium on all immigration until real immigration reform can be enacted, certainly not another amnesty for illegal aliens now here like the Gutierrez or Schumer bill.”
ENDLESS WAR ON DRUGS USELESS AND EXPENSIVE
On the subject of the War on Drugs, these "Undressed" authors make a lot of sense to me:
"Yet not treating Americans as adults has costs. For instance, it became the official policy of our federal government to try to make America 'a drug-free nation' 39 years ago. After spending hundreds of billions of dollars and imprisoning millions of people, it's slowly beginning to become possible for some politicians to admit that fighting a necessarily endless drug war in pursuit of an impossible goal might be a bad idea. How long will it take to admit that an endless war on terror, dedicated to making America a terror-free nation, is equally nonsensical?"
So what should we do about this threat, which clearly has been manifested in many terrorist acts in Europe, the USA and elsewhere with the prospect of many more to come? The "Undressed" authors again persuasively argue that:
"A little intelligence and a few drops of courage remind us that life is full of risk, and that of all the risks we confront in America every day, terrorism is a very minor one. Taking prudent steps to reasonably minimize the tiny threat we face from a few fanatic criminals need not grant them the attention they crave.
Continuing to play Terror-ball, on the other hand, guarantees that the terrorists will always win, since it places the bar for what counts as success for them practically on the ground."
Collins continued, “The ultimate irony in our present preoccupation with terrorism may be its potential positive effect on the urgent need for immigration reform. The huge wave of immigration which has swept 50 million or more immigrants and their offspring into the USA since the major change in US immigration law in 1965 has provided no measurable benefits and increased our cost of living by every dimension.
“In the face of utterly destructive new attempts for new legislation before the Democratic Congress to legalize 12 million or more aliens here illegally, we constantly fail to assess real opportunities such as withdrawing from dangerous wars which create more terrorists.”
Our national leaders have bad perception problems. In a January 11th NewsMax story, 2008 presidential candidate, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, declared, "The Fort Hood shootings and the Christmas Day bombing incident show Obama and his advisers have been "fundamentally wrong" in their approach to the war on terror.”
“While great danger from the terrorists (and with drug lords) lies in our preoccupation and fear which these authors suggest, a greater threat keeps moving relentlessly forward on the backs of the businesses and others whose greedy rush for cheap labor keeps logic, fairness and indeed the welfare of our nation hostage to real reform of our broken immigration system,” said Collins. “What better time to initiate an immigration reform than this prolonged economic crisis, which many see as lasting for years? We have always needed to carefully select entrants of all races and countries before they are allowed to become citizens, but based on national need, not done as we have since 1965. Sadly we stopped doing that long ago. Now, we need a full stop moratorium on immigration.”
You may be a liberal or a conservative, but if you’re an American, Collins makes sense.

PART 2: JACKPOT ANCHOR BABIES--RUNAWAY FRAUD ON AMERICAN TAXPAYER

Part 2: Degrading schools and communities and welfare
Every year, 400,000 pregnant women enter the United States legally and illegally to birth their babies on American soil. Their children become instant citizens and their mothers become instant wards of the American taxpayer.
From a reader: Dear Mr. Wooldridge: You can also add South Florida to your list. I work in “Labor & Delivery” as a newborn admittance nurse down here in South Florida. Women fly in from the Bahamas, the Caribbean Islands, Central and South America every day and delivery their babies at this hospital. Many use the same excuse - they came to shop and just happened to go into labor while they were here. Some even have their prenatal records with them!!! Most however, have no records and so we spend even more money on them doing prenatal lab testing. And for those with sick or problem babies - no problem. They get top-notch tax payer funded neonatal intensive care right across the hall. [Costs run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars]
“We've even had a Haitian woman recently say she came because of the earthquake - interestingly her first clinic visit here was documented three days before the quake. That is just wrong to say something like that!! They don't pay one red cent for their hospital stays and in fact, they sign up for WIC while they're here to receive free food and formula. The money they pay for the plane ticket here could buy a lot of essentials for the baby in the first year so I know most are not hurting for money. I feel like I'm in a foreign country down here.” Thank you, Nancy
This story repeats itself 400,000 times a year, year in and year out! And, only one U.S. Congressman, Nathan Deals of Georgia has introduced a bill to stop it. Yet, not one other of the 534 other Congressional reps will advance the bill.
In an excellent expose’ by Mark Cromer, www.capsweb.org, senior writing fellow, titled: “American Jackpot: Remaking America by Birthright Citizenship,” he explains phenomenon occurring only in the United States. No other country in the world allows it.
“Immigration limitation activists will be attempting a statewide petition drive to get the California Taxpayer Protection Act on the ballot,” Cromer said. “If passed, the measure will prohibit a parent here illegally from applying for any state or local benefit for a U.S. born child. Sweeping in its implications, the act would halt non-emergency medical aid— including the taxpayer-funded pre-natal care that has actually been advertised across Mexico and other countries by migrant advocacy groups—and would stop state welfare payments that illegal immigrant parents collect on behalf of their citizen-children. This initiative would also eliminate the lure of birth tourism.”
CALIFORNIA WITH FIVE MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS AND $26 BILLION IN DEBT
“If passed, the initiative will go a long way to help balance the California budget and launch the long overdue national discussion of the actual meaning of the 14th Amendment,” said Cromer. “It would revitalize long neglected federal legislation on this subject of the kind proposed by Nathan Deal and many other members of Congress, none of which have ever been brought to the floor for a vote.
“If the policy of granting birthright citizenship was once an affordable misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment, it has long since become a massive entitlement that has collided with the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 and the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 to create a perfect storm of mass immigration to our shores.
“In 1965, the late Senator Ted Kennedy pressed hard for the immigration legislation—it was the first bill he managed through to passage— that eliminated the so-called ‘national origin’ quotas that had been used to keep the flow of immigrants into the U.S. overwhelmingly European. Confronting critics of the bill who had the foresight to question whether it would result in torrential flows of peoples from impoverished lands that would strain America’s ability to assimilate them, Kennedy dismissed even the suggestion that the ethnic and cultural balance of the nation would be impacted and, in a portent of strategy employed by the proponents of mass immigration ever since, he accused the bill’s critics of bigotry.”
“The charges I have mentioned are highly emotional, irrational and with little foundation in fact,” Kennedy said about critics of the bill that raised the alarm it would result in a Third World stampede for American shores. “They are out of line with the obligations of responsible citizenship. They breed hate of our heritage.…”
From my own personal observation, I submit that Kennedy created the beginning of the end of the United States of America. He flooded this country with cultures of poverty, incompatible religions, linguistic chaos and an ecological destruction driven by an added 100 million people in 40 years. If his 1965 bill continues, expect another 70 million third world immigrants and their children within 25 years.
Cromer said, “The assessment that Kennedy was so utterly off the mark in his steadfast assurances that America’s cultural balance would not be dramatically tipped by the legislation is so undeniable that even unwavering liberals acknowledge it—and thank him for it. Just hours after his death, the Daily Kos website posted a homage to Kennedy by Dana Houle that celebrated his efforts to shepherd the 1965 immigration bill to passage.”
“When he was arguing for the act,” Houle writes, “Kennedy tried to assure critics that it wouldn’t significantly change the ethnic makeup of the country. Obviously he was wrong, and it is open to interpretation whether he misjudged the effects or concealed his intents.” Houle notes that in 1960, the foreign-born population of the U.S. was “only 5.4 percent.” Yet by 2000, that figure had jumped to more than 11 percent— a massive demographic shift fueled by an influx of immigrants of which, Houle gushed proudly “Only 16 percent were from Europe.” More than half were from Latin America.
“With every passing day it is increasingly clear that the allure of birthright citizenship has picked up steam during the past four decades, becoming a runaway train, a human locomotive fueled by Latin America’s entrenched misery that has come barreling across the Rio Grande to demographically explode in major American population centers and—with human densities in urbanized regions reaching critical mass—fans out into the heartland.”
Cromer continued, “The policy has created a self-sustaining dynamic on a fundamental level; encouraging immigrants to cross the border illegally and then rewarding them when they have a child here by making said baby an instant-citizen and therefore accorded all the rights and privileges afforded Americans; including welfare payments. Perhaps even more potent is their right, once they turn 18, to petition for their immigrant family members to stay in the United States. Thus these babies are far more than euphemistic anchors: they are quite literally paychecks and a membership card into the network of social services offered in America. This powerful dynamic is now pervasive across the nation, resulting in chaotic scenes as American citizens demand enforcement of immigrations laws while immigrants and their advocacy networks decry any effort to deport those here illegally.”

Every year, 400,000 pregnant women enter the United States legally and illegally to birth their babies on American soil. Their children become instant citizens and their mothers become instant wards of the American taxpayer.
From a reader: Dear Mr. Wooldridge: You can also add South Florida to your list. I work in “Labor & Delivery” as a newborn admittance nurse down here in South Florida. Women fly in from the Bahamas, the Caribbean Islands, Central and South America every day and delivery their babies at this hospital. Many use the same excuse - they came to shop and just happened to go into labor while they were here. Some even have their prenatal records with them!!! Most however, have no records and so we spend even more money on them doing prenatal lab testing. And for those with sick or problem babies - no problem. They get top-notch tax payer funded neonatal intensive care right across the hall. [Costs run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars]
“We've even had a Haitian woman recently say she came because of the earthquake - interestingly her first clinic visit here was documented three days before the quake. That is just wrong to say something like that!! They don't pay one red cent for their hospital stays and in fact, they sign up for WIC while they're here to receive free food and formula. The money they pay for the plane ticket here could buy a lot of essentials for the baby in the first year so I know most are not hurting for money. This story repeats itself 400,000 times a year, year in and year out! And, only one U.S. Congressman, Nathan Deals of Georgia has introduced a bill to stop it. Yet, not one other of the 534 other Congressional reps will advance the bill.
In an excellent expose’ by Mark Cromer, www.capsweb.org, senior writing fellow, titled: “American Jackpot: Remaking America by Birthright Citizenship,” he explains phenomenon occurring only in the United States. No other country in the world allows it.
“Immigration limitation activists will be attempting a statewide petition drive to get the California Taxpayer Protection Act on the ballot,” Cromer said. “If passed, the measure will prohibit a parent here illegally from applying for any state or local benefit for a U.S. born child. Sweeping in its implications, the act would halt non-emergency medical aid— including the taxpayer-funded pre-natal care that has actually been advertised across Mexico and other countries by migrant advocacy groups—and would stop state welfare payments that illegal immigrant parents collect on behalf of their citizen-children. This initiative would also eliminate the lure of birth tourism.”
CALIFORNIA WITH FIVE MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS AND $26 BILLION IN DEBT
“If passed, the initiative will go a long way to help balance the California budget and launch the long overdue national discussion of the actual meaning of the 14th Amendment,” said Cromer. “It would revitalize long neglected federal legislation on this subject of the kind proposed by Nathan Deal and many other members of Congress, none of which have ever been brought to the floor for a vote.
“If the policy of granting birthright citizenship was once an affordable misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment, it has long since become a massive entitlement that has collided with the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 and the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 to create a perfect storm of mass immigration to our shores.
“In 1965, the late Senator Ted Kennedy pressed hard for the immigration legislation—it was the first bill he managed through to passage— that eliminated the so-called ‘national origin’ quotas that had been used to keep the flow of immigrants into the U.S. overwhelmingly European. Confronting critics of the bill who had the foresight to question whether it would result in torrential flows of peoples from impoverished lands that would strain America’s ability to assimilate them, Kennedy dismissed even the suggestion that the ethnic and cultural balance of the nation would be impacted and, in a portent of strategy employed by the proponents of mass immigration ever since, he accused the bill’s critics of bigotry.”
“The charges I have mentioned are highly emotional, irrational and with little foundation in fact,” Kennedy said about critics of the bill that raised the alarm it would result in a Third World stampede for American shores. “They are out of line with the obligations of responsible citizenship. They breed hate of our heritage.…”
From my own personal observation, I submit that Kennedy created the beginning of the end of the United States of America. He flooded this country with cultures of poverty, incompatible religions, linguistic chaos and an ecological destruction driven by an added 100 million people in 40 years. If his 1965 bill continues, expect another 70 million third world immigrants and their children within 25 years.
Cromer said, “The assessment that Kennedy was so utterly off the mark in his steadfast assurances that America’s cultural balance would not be dramatically tipped by the legislation is so undeniable that even unwavering liberals acknowledge it—and thank him for it. Just hours after his death, the Daily Kos website posted a homage to Kennedy by Dana Houle that celebrated his efforts to shepherd the 1965 immigration bill to passage.”
“When he was arguing for the act,” Houle writes, “Kennedy tried to assure critics that it wouldn’t significantly change the ethnic makeup of the country. Obviously he was wrong, and it is open to interpretation whether he misjudged the effects or concealed his intents.” Houle notes that in 1960, the foreign-born population of the U.S. was “only 5.4 percent.” Yet by 2000, that figure had jumped to more than 11 percent— a massive demographic shift fueled by an influx of immigrants of which, Houle gushed proudly “Only 16 percent were from Europe.” More than half were from Latin America.
“With every passing day it is increasingly clear that the allure of birthright citizenship has picked up steam during the past four decades, becoming a runaway train, a human locomotive fueled by Latin America’s entrenched misery that has come barreling across the Rio Grande to demographically explode in major American population centers and—with human densities in urbanized regions reaching critical mass—fans out into the heartland.”
Cromer continued, “The policy has created a self-sustaining dynamic on a fundamental level; encouraging immigrants to cross the border illegally and then rewarding them when they have a child here by making said baby an instant-citizen and therefore accorded all the rights and privileges afforded Americans; including welfare payments. Perhaps even more potent is their right, once they turn 18, to petition for their immigrant family members to stay in the United States. Thus these babies are far more than euphemistic anchors: they are quite literally paychecks and a membership card into the network of social services offered in America. This powerful dynamic is now pervasive across the nation, resulting in chaotic scenes as American citizens demand enforcement of immigrations laws while immigrants and their advocacy networks decry any effort to deport those here illegally.”

CASE FOR REDUCING ALL IMMIGRATION INTO AMERICA TO 100,000 ANNUALLY

A recent Seattle Times op-ed said that Washington State’s (illegal) immigrants are “indispensable.” In other words, “We need our 21st century slave labor in order to ensure that our corporations make obscene profits to the detriment of our own citizens.”
Ironically, the Seattle Times did not mention that hundreds of thousands of Washington State citizens languish in food kitchens, food stamp and unemployment lines.
Back in Colorado, I wrote my U.S. Congressman Mike Coffman urging him to introduce a bill to reduce all legal immigration into the United States to 100,000 a year. I supplied facts, figures and graphs to support my stance. For example: we import 1.2 million legal immigrants annually while we suffer 20 million unemployed Americans. Not only can we NOT employ 20 million of our own citizens, how do we create jobs for 1.2 million more immigrants annually with credentials only to drive a taxi or clean hotel rooms?
A sixth grader could ingest the facts and figures to see that continued mass immigration into the United States cannot be sustained from a simple jobs standpoint.
However, Coffman wrote back, “In regards to your recommendations, I do not believe it is in the best interest of the United States to limit legal immigration to 100,000 individuals annually. It will also place America at a competitive disadvantage moving forward. For that reason, I do not support eliminating the H-1B and H-2B Visas. I believe that these visas have the ability to benefit American companies and the economy as a whole.”
Point in fact, those visas displaced 1.1 million American IT workers with foreign workers in our own country! Thanks to you, Congressman Coffman and your colleagues in Congress!
In other words, to Coffman, a college graduate and a U.S. Marine colonel, with 20 million unemployed Americans, it’s ‘competitive’ to add another 1.2 million legal immigrants annually. Even former Governor Lamm of Colorado said, “Are we in dreamland? The United States has had zero net job growth since 2000, yet we imported 10 million permanent immigrants in the same period. Our real U.S. unemployment rate is 17.3 percent when we consider the discouraged workers, more than 20 million, and yet some in Congress along with Udall and Bennet, propose increasing legal immigration and giving amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, who themselves will be allowed to bring in their spouses, parents, children, brothers, sisters and spouses and children of brothers and sisters. America has its plate full putting our own workers back to work.”
THE NUMBERS COLLIDE WITH REALITY
In a brilliant essay, Richard Pelto, “Is immigration indispensible?”, Vol. 1, fall 2009, www.thesocialcontract.com , he writes, “At a time when it is imperative to understand what is cracking the foundations of our economic and social system, Jayapal and Sinclair blindly pursue an immigration policy that demands that the now top-heavy and wobbly economic structure — already straining to remain balanced under the weight of unsustainability — be built even higher while blindly being rooted in the premise that we can never exhaust this Earth’s resources. That is especially absurd because it ignores the welfare of future generations because those resources enabled the industrialization and population explosion that came only because of their cheaply-available abundance.”
What astounds me as I research for my weekly columns, stems from the fact that our leaders from Congressman Coffman on up to U.S. Senators like Colorado’s Mark Udall—fail to understand basic arithmetic.
How can they think it’s ‘competitive’ to inject over 200,000 immigrants every 30 days into this country, when we suffer 20 million unemployed Americans? Another 35 million Americans subsist on food stamps! Millions more suffer foreclosed homes because they cannot pay the mortgages because they don’t have jobs. How about 13 million of our children living in poverty? How about 1.5 million homeless Americans? Where is the logic? Where is the common sense? What planet do they live on?
Am I crazy to ask these questions? Or, are they totally out of touch with reality as they import 1.2 million more people into this country annually? I am a former math/science teacher. Numbers either add up or they do not add up. At our current immigration rates, we can expect 70 million more immigrants injected into this country within 25 years. It’s the most ignored and avoided issue in immigration debate.
LEGAL IMMIGRATION IS WORSE THAN ILLEGAL BECAUSE IT CONTINUES METHODICALLY AND
WITHOUT PAUSE
Would you write your senators and congressmen? Ask him or her to introduce a bill to reduce legal immigration to 100,000 annually. Why that number? That’s how many people egress this country annually. Thus, we would move our civilization toward a balanced and sustainable future. Let’s make sure the math adds up for our children for a sustainable future.

A recent Seattle Times op-ed said that Washington State’s (illegal) immigrants are “indispensable.” In other words, “We need our 21st century slave labor in order to ensure that our corporations make obscene profits to the detriment of our own citizens.”
Ironically, the Seattle Times did not mention that hundreds of thousands of Washington State citizens languish in food kitchens, food stamp and unemployment lines.
Back in Colorado, I wrote my U.S. Congressman Mike Coffman urging him to introduce a bill to reduce all legal immigration into the United States to 100,000 a year. I supplied facts, figures and graphs to support my stance. For example: we import 1.2 million legal immigrants annually while we suffer 20 million unemployed Americans. Not only can we NOT employ 20 million of our own citizens, how do we create jobs for 1.2 million more immigrants annually with credentials only to drive a taxi or clean hotel rooms?
A sixth grader could ingest the facts and figures to see that continued mass immigration into the United States cannot be sustained from a simple jobs standpoint.
However, Coffman wrote back, “In regards to your recommendations, I do not believe it is in the best interest of the United States to limit legal immigration to 100,000 individuals annually. It will also place America at a competitive disadvantage moving forward. For that reason, I do not support eliminating the H-1B and H-2B Visas. I believe that these visas have the ability to benefit American companies and the economy as a whole.”
Point in fact, those visas displaced 1.1 million American IT workers with foreign workers in our own country! Thanks to you, Congressman Coffman and your colleagues in Congress!
In other words, to Coffman, a college graduate and a U.S. Marine colonel, with 20 million unemployed Americans, it’s ‘competitive’ to add another 1.2 million legal immigrants annually. Even former Governor Lamm of Colorado said, “Are we in dreamland? The United States has had zero net job growth since 2000, yet we imported 10 million permanent immigrants in the same period. Our real U.S. unemployment rate is 17.3 percent when we consider the discouraged workers, more than 20 million, and yet some in Congress along with Udall and Bennet, propose increasing legal immigration and giving amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, who themselves will be allowed to bring in their spouses, parents, children, brothers, sisters and spouses and children of brothers and sisters. America has its plate full putting our own workers back to work.”
THE NUMBERS COLLIDE WITH REALITY
In a brilliant essay, Richard Pelto, “Is immigration indispensible?”, Vol. 1, fall 2009, www.thesocialcontract.com , he writes, “At a time when it is imperative to understand what is cracking the foundations of our economic and social system, Jayapal and Sinclair blindly pursue an immigration policy that demands that the now top-heavy and wobbly economic structure — already straining to remain balanced under the weight of unsustainability — be built even higher while blindly being rooted in the premise that we can never exhaust this Earth’s resources. That is especially absurd because it ignores the welfare of future generations because those resources enabled the industrialization and population explosion that came only because of their cheaply-available abundance.”
What astounds me as I research for my weekly columns, stems from the fact that our leaders from Congressman Coffman on up to U.S. Senators like Colorado’s Mark Udall—fail to understand basic arithmetic.
How can they think it’s ‘competitive’ to inject over 200,000 immigrants every 30 days into this country, when we suffer 20 million unemployed Americans? Another 35 million Americans subsist on food stamps! Millions more suffer foreclosed homes because they cannot pay the mortgages because they don’t have jobs. How about 13 million of our children living in poverty? How about 1.5 million homeless Americans? Where is the logic? Where is the common sense? What planet do they live on?
Am I crazy to ask these questions? Or, are they totally out of touch with reality as they import 1.2 million more people into this country annually? I am a former math/science teacher. Numbers either add up or they do not add up. At our current immigration rates, we can expect 70 million more immigrants injected into this country within 25 years. It’s the most ignored and avoided issue in immigration debate.
LEGAL IMMIGRATION IS WORSE THAN ILLEGAL BECAUSE IT CONTINUES METHODICALLY AND
WITHOUT PAUSE
Would you write your senators and congressmen? Ask him or her to introduce a bill to reduce legal immigration to 100,000 annually. Why that number? That’s how many people egress this country annually. Thus, we would move our civilization toward a balanced and sustainable future. AMERICA RUNNING BLOOD RED DEFICITS: BUT STILL GIVING BILLIONS TO ILLEGALS ALIENS

Take a look at these figures: NBC reported 26 million Americans unemployed or working half time because they cannot obtain a full time job. Countless millions lost their homes to foreclosures in the past three years. At the same time, 35 million Americans subsist on food stamps. Yes, you may check Google for that figure. Our national debt wallows at $12 trillion.
In the same breath, last month, our U.S. Congress injected around 200,000 to 238,000 legal and illegal immigrants into this country. Month in and month out! Year in and year out! They injected 2.4 million last year and they will inject another 2.4 million in 2010. Most go on welfare and many stay on the public dole.
Former Colorado Governor Lamm said, “Are we in dreamland? The United States has had zero net job growth since 2000, yet we imported more than 10 million permanent immigrants in the same period. Because Governor Schwarzenegger would not enforce immigration laws, because ICE would not arrest illegal employers, because all those elected to uphold the U.S. Constitution would not follow their sworn oaths. Therefore, California taxpayers spent not just $64 million, but a total of over $10 billion on illegal aliens. Senators Boxer and Feinstein sat on their butts watching it happen as well as 37 California House members. Amazing!
U.S. taxpayers shelled out, according to the Edwin Rubenstein Report, www.thesocialcontract.com , $346 billion. They continue to shell it out year in and year out. That coincides with the fact that we add 200,000 to 240,000 immigrants every 30 days.
“Nationwide, one-in-three immigrant-headed households uses at least one major welfare program, compared to 19 percent of native households, according to the Center for Immigration Studies, a Washington D.C.-based think tank that advocates immigration reduction,” said Wall. “In California, 192,660 citizen children are getting welfare checks passed through their illegal immigrant parents. That costs $546 million a year in state, federal and county funds. Some lawmakers say it's an expense California can't afford as the state struggles to close nearly $20 billion budget gap.”
"We should never be giving benefits to people in this country illegally," said state Sen. Bob Dutton, R-Rancho Cucamonga.
“County officials provided data from August 2009 to show the funding and number of American-born children of illegal immigrants receiving aid and food stamp programs,” reported Wall. “Information for all of 2009 was not easily retrievable, officials said, but the August figures are an accurate reflection of a monthly total during the year. The maximum CalWORKs grant for a family of three in the county is $661 per month. The maximum amount of food stamp assistance that a family of three can get is $526 a month. In August, the county spent nearly $3.3 million for CalWORKs and about $2 million for food stamps for the American-born children of illegal immigrants. The two programs totaled nearly $64 million when multiplied over 12 months.”
Over 400,000 illegal mothers annually birth “anchor babies” in the USA at a cost of billions both in medical, food, housing and educational outlays for K-12.
“The welfare expenses don't count pregnancy-related services that were provided last year to about 2,350 illegal immigrant women in the county through Medi-Cal, a health-care program for low-income California residents,” reported Wall. “The welfare costs also don't include the roughly $11 billion the state spends annually for education, unreimbursed health care and incarceration of illegal immigrant criminals, said Ira Mehlman, spokesman for the Federation of American Immigration Reform, a Washington D.C.-based group that favors strict immigration limits.” www.fairus.org

PART 3: MUSLIMS IN 21ST CENTURY AMERICA: POLITICAL CORRECTNESS DEADLY

Part 3: Muslim Major Hasan’s deadly jihad, political correctness, a U.S. Army soldier’s story
In 1860 Mark Twain said, "The shabbiest of all lies is 'silent-assertion', which happens when the media, politicians and church leaders obfuscate, suppress or ignore a social wrong or something going awry in this society." In his time, slavery represented silent-assertion as it led to states rights issues and the Civil War.
Today, the United States races, hell-bent, toward injecting itself with incompatible cultures and languages that do not meld into the foundational culture, religion and people of America. From 100,000 Muslims in 1991, the U.S. Congress immigrated eight million Muslims into its Christian culture by 2009. Call it ‘multiculturalism’ or ‘diversity’ or ‘cultural suicide’, but whatever you call it, only chaos results for the host nations that import millions of Muslim immigrants. Examples abound in Great Britain (subway bombings, two separate societies in London), France (fire bombs, riots in 2007, extensive ghettos, massive police presence to quell unrest), Holland (rapes, violence, ghettos), Sweden (rapes, riots and schools), Norway (Norwegians fleeing Muslim neighborhoods), Austria (tension), Spain (train bombings) and Germany (tense social situation).
Former President Bush, days after Islam’s attack on the World Trade Center towers now known as 9/11, said, “Islam is a religion of peace.” However, all 19 of the terrorists followed Islam’s precepts. Bush’s ‘silent-assertion’ may equal Great Britain’s Neville Chamberlain’s obsequious behavior to Adolf Hitler, which, within a few years, led to World War II.
The following precepts give you an idea why U.S. Army Major Nadal Hassan, a jihadist Muslim, in cold blood, murdered 13 and wounded 29. He followed, Sura 9, verse 5: “Then fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them. And seize them, beleaguer them and lie in wait for them, in every stratagem of war.”
A former outraged U.S. Army veteran friend of mine said, “The Roman Empire collapsed due in part to its army taking in too many foreigners. There is a lesson to be learned from this. When I was stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., in 1964, we had in our barracks a black guy who mostly kept to himself and never mingled with the rest of us. I don't recall him saying anything that would raise suspicion or being disciplined. But during a routine inspection of the barracks, military police discovered in his locker radical black literature and the inside of his locker door covered with color photographs of African warriors, e.g., Mau-Mau, holding spears, large knives, etc. He was gone before the evening meal and his area completely clean out. Never saw him again.
“This Dr. Hasan should have never been in our military. Most people don't know this, but about 10 years ago our federal government decided to allow Muslim immigrants upon entering this country to sign a statement saying they would not fight against a Muslim nation. Please take notice that the Council of American-Islamic Relations never apologizes for American Muslims that behead their wives, or for honor killings of daughters or its fund-raising for Hamas terrorist activities—here in the United States. Last week, the FBI shut down four mosques in New York for subversive activities. Again, refer to Sura 9, verse 5.
The Koran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with non-believers. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads, fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called 'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to hell if they do not join the slaughter.
Unfortunately, there are very few verses of tolerance and peace to abrogate or even balance out the many that call for non-believers to be fought and subdued until they—accept humiliation, convert to Islam, or are killed. This proclivity toward violence—modeled by Muhammad's own violent legacy—left a trail of blood across centuries of world history.

Qur'an (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution of Muslims is worse than slaughter of non-believers...and fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."
Qur'an (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority". It includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity.
Qur'an (4:89) - "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing: But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah. But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them."
Qur'an (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" You might deduce that Muhammad did not enjoy any peaceful or spiritual brotherhood with humanity.
Bukhari (52:177) - Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say, "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."
As you can see from a few verses, Muslims embrace a sacred vow to kill all Jews and non-believers in every stratagem of war. Additionally, whether it takes 10 years or 100 years, their fight to subdue all mankind to Islam and Allah continues through eternity.
The great conundrum: why Jews in America don’t raise their voices to the importation of millions of Muslims. Surely they know that Muslims in the Middle East expect to destroy Israel. Surely they know that Muslims in Belgium and Holland terrorize Jews and have burned Jewish synagogues. Surely, they know about outright violence toward Jews in France. Surely they know, that, as Muslim numbers grow, Jewish citizens face increased violence in America.
As I said before, what happens when another 10 to 20 million more Muslims imbed themselves into America? Their culture does not represent your garden variety, assimilation-prone immigrants. One look at Detroit, Michigan will send shivers down any red-blooded non-hyphenated American citizen’s spine.

U.S. SUSTAINABLE IMMIGRATION POLICY FOR ALL AMERICANS

The United States races into the 21st century like a seasick captain at the helm of a battleship plowing into Hurricane Katrina. The more he vomits, the bigger the mess to clean up. The further he heads into the 50 foot waves, the sooner he could be washed overboard. The worse the storm grows, the more the windows fog up so he cannot see where he’s going in rough seas. The more he tries to maintain a steady rudder, the faster his ship takes on water to ultimately follow the Titanic’s fate.
Today, our country, the United States of America, charges full steam ahead into a Human Katrina in the 21st century that becomes fiercer, more powerful and more ominous with every year that passes. If ‘people’ represent the North Atlantic waters of Titanic’s sinking moment—and they do—the United States cannot maintain itself as to sustainability, clean water, food, energy and quality of life.
Every 30 days, the USA takes on 200,000 to 240,000 immigrants from a never ending line of an added 77 million annually of desperately poor from around the world. They add up to over 2.5 million annually pouring into the USA. They stress our infrastructure, overwhelm our water supplies, our food supplies, our hospital facilities, our educational systems and overload our prisons.
At the bow of the Titanic, our most populace state: California--adds 1,700 mostly immigrants net gain per day, seven days a week, 365 days a year on their way to adding 20 million to their already overloaded 38 million in 2009. They destroy 250,000 acres of wilderness annually to cope with their added human payload. They add 400 cars net gain daily. California represents everything happening to America—and none of it equates to good.
As Governor Schwarzenegger said, “We are out of money….” He’s not only out of money, but he’s loaded up with a $26 billion debt, gridlocked highways, toxic air, trashed schools, filled prisons, 86 bankrupted hospitals and ER wards and water shortages. The cause? Unrelenting, massive and unending legal and illegal immigration!
In Dr. Otis Graham’s “Unguarded Gates: A History of America’s Immigration Crisis”, he writes, “Most Western elites continue urging the wealthy West not to stem the migrant tide, but to absorb our global brothers and sisters until their horrid ordeal has been endured and shared by all--ten billion humans packed onto an ecologically devastated planet.”
Al Gore, gracing Newsweek Magazine this week, pitches to stop global climate change. He pretends to solve the problem but he won’t whisper the cause.
The eminent US demographic expert, Dr. Albert Bartlett said, “Can you think of any problem in any area of human endeavor on any scale, from microscopic to global, whose long-term solution is in any demonstrable way aided, assisted, or advanced by further increases of population, locally, nationally, or globally.”
Can you? Can adding 200,000 immigrants monthly to the USA solve our toxic air over our cities? Gridlocked highways? School crowding? Water shortages? Energy costs? Hospital facilities? Enhance our quality of life?
As Mike Matz said in a Denver Post article, we lose 6,000 acres daily to human encroachment and expect to lose another 1.26 billion acres of wilderness within 35 years, i.e, ‘ecological footprint’ or, the amount of land that must be destroyed to support one American. That number equals 12.6 acres of land.

Yes! I could present a dozen more examples of this “Human Katrina” swamping our country. You read about them daily, so you know what I speak about.
So how do we stop this mess without sinking our country as surely as the Titanic sank?
Dr. Jack Alpert said, “TEMPORAL BLINDNESS is a limitation in cognitive process. People with temporal blindness cannot gather and process available information into predictions of future conditions. Their processes cannot connect future conditions to a causing behavior. When their processes do create unpleasant predictions, and identify the causal behavior, they fail to create enough present meaning for the future conditions to motivate a change in that behavior.”
What’s causing our ship to sink? Fact: mass immigration.
What do we do about it? Take action!
Let’s propose a “US Sustainable Immigration Policy” of 100,000 or less annually in order to keep our country afloat today, next decade and throughout the 21st century.
Why 100,000? That many people egress the country annually. Voila! Net gain of zero!
Simple, smart, proactive, reasonable and sustainable!
Yes, you can become emotional citing that this nation’s greatness stemmed from its greatness via immigration. That was a mathematical possibility then, but now, a non-mathematical equation. We cannot continue with unrelenting immigration.
Thirty years from now our kids will ask two questions. If we fail to engage a “US Sustainable Immigration Policy”, they will be swimming in 100 million more people fighting for diminished water, resources, energy and clean air. They will gasp, “What were you thinking?”
Or, if we do enact an immigration policy, and we do not add 100 million people, and our kids enjoy quality of life, a decent living, and a balanced and thriving environment, they might ask, “Were my parents smart or what?!”
As a nation, as a culture, as a people, we must think about the 7th generation to come. How will they be able to live, eat, work, play and enjoy their lives if we fail to act responsibly?
Each of us carries a sacred trust to our children and the children of the future of this amazing United States of America as well as our planet. The United States races into the 21st century like a seasick captain at the helm of a battleship plowing into Hurricane Katrina. The more he vomits, the bigger the mess to clean up. The further he heads into the 50 foot waves, the sooner he could be washed overboard. The worse the storm grows, the more the windows fog up so he cannot see where he’s going in rough seas. The more he tries to maintain a steady rudder, the faster his ship takes on water to ultimately follow the Titanic’s fate.
Today, our country, the United States of America, charges full steam ahead into a Human Katrina in the 21st century that becomes fiercer, more powerful and more ominous with every year that passes. If ‘people’ represent the North Atlantic waters of Titanic’s sinking moment—and they do—the United States cannot maintain itself as to sustainability, clean water, food, energy and quality of life.
Every 30 days, the USA takes on 200,000 to 240,000 immigrants from a never ending line of an added 77 million annually of desperately poor from around the world. They add up to over 2.5 million annually pouring into the USA. They stress our infrastructure, overwhelm our water supplies, our food supplies, our hospital facilities, our educational systems and overload our prisons.
At the bow of the Titanic, our most populace state: California--adds 1,700 mostly immigrants net gain per day, seven days a week, 365 days a year on their way to adding 20 million to their already overloaded 38 million in 2009. They destroy 250,000 acres of wilderness annually to cope with their added human payload. They add 400 cars net gain daily. California represents everything happening to America—and none of it equates to good.
As Governor Schwarzenegger said, “We are out of money….” He’s not only out of money, but he’s loaded up with a $26 billion debt, gridlocked highways, toxic air, trashed schools, filled prisons, 86 bankrupted hospitals and ER wards and water shortages. The cause? Unrelenting, massive and unending legal and illegal immigration!
In Dr. Otis Graham’s “Unguarded Gates: A History of America’s Immigration Crisis”, he writes, “Most Western elites continue urging the wealthy West not to stem the migrant tide, but to absorb our global brothers and sisters until their horrid ordeal has been endured and shared by all--ten billion humans packed onto an ecologically devastated planet.”
Al Gore, gracing Newsweek Magazine this week, pitches to stop global climate change. He pretends to solve the problem but he won’t whisper the cause.
The eminent US demographic expert, Dr. Albert Bartlett said, “Can you think of any problem in any area of human endeavor on any scale, from microscopic to global, whose long-term solution is in any demonstrable way aided, assisted, or advanced by further increases of population, locally, nationally, or globally.”
Can you? Can adding 200,000 immigrants monthly to the USA solve our toxic air over our cities? Gridlocked highways? School crowding? Water shortages? Energy costs? Hospital facilities? Enhance our quality of life?
As Mike Matz said in a Denver Post article, we lose 6,000 acres daily to human encroachment and expect to lose another 1.26 billion acres of wilderness within 35 years, i.e, ‘ecological footprint’ or, the amount of land that must be destroyed to support one American. That number equals 12.6 acres of land.

Yes! I could present a dozen more examples of this “Human Katrina” swamping our country. You read about them daily, so you know what I speak about.
So how do we stop this mess without sinking our country as surely as the Titanic sank?
Dr. Jack Alpert said, “TEMPORAL BLINDNESS is a limitation in cognitive process. People with temporal blindness cannot gather and process available information into predictions of future conditions. Their processes cannot connect future conditions to a causing behavior. When their processes do create unpleasant predictions, and identify the causal behavior, they fail to create enough present meaning for the future conditions to motivate a change in that behavior.”
What’s causing our ship to sink? Fact: mass immigration.
What do we do about it? Take action!
Let’s propose a “US Sustainable Immigration Policy” of 100,000 or less annually in order to keep our country afloat today, next decade and throughout the 21st century.
Why 100,000? That many people egress the country annually. Voila! Net gain of zero!
Simple, smart, proactive, reasonable and sustainable!
Yes, you can become emotional citing that this nation’s greatness stemmed from its greatness via immigration. That was a mathematical possibility then, but now, a non-mathematical equation. We cannot continue with unrelenting immigration.
Thirty years from now our kids will ask two questions. If we fail to engage a “US Sustainable Immigration Policy”, they will be swimming in 100 million more people fighting for diminished water, resources, energy and clean air. They will gasp, “What were you thinking?”
Or, if we do enact an immigration policy, and we do not add 100 million people, and our kids enjoy quality of life, a decent living, and a balanced and thriving environment, they might ask, “Were my parents smart or what?!”
As a nation, as a culture, as a people, we must think about the 7th generation to come. How will they be able to live, eat, work, play and enjoy their lives if we fail to act responsibly?

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY: PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Following up the two part series on “U.S. Filling Up with Dumb People”, an amazing number of emails arrived with a sense of heart break, distress and futility. Older Americans seem to think that America can return to the way it was! Younger Americans don’t have a clue as to the way it used to be! Immigrant Americans don’t know what America once was nor do they care about what we are becoming. They don’t know the difference.
Immigrants celebrate being here rather than being where they came from because where they came from can only be described as miserable enough to flee. Please be advised that over 10 million people wait in line to move to America and their numbers grow by 77 million annually. But as more and more of them arrive, they turn our country into the same chaos they left in their countries. Example: California!
As we change our language to many languages, as we change our ethnic makeup to a majority of Mexican-Americans and Muslim-Americans by 2042, (Source: PEW Research) as we change our dominant Christian religion that built this country—into a multicultural morass, as we lower our standards in education, culture and personal accountability—America will never again enjoy its exceptional past.
This quote bears repeating as it applies to America. In Dr. Otis Graham’s “Unguarded Gates: A History of America’s Immigration Crisis”, he writes, “Most Western elites continue urging the wealthy West not to stem the migrant tide, but to absorb our global brothers and sisters until their horrid ordeal has been endured and shared by all--ten billion humans packed onto an ecologically devastated planet.”

The Subtitle is: "How Higher Education Has Failed Democracy and Impoverished the Souls of Today's students" Deliberately!”
Before 1960, Americans enjoyed a high degree of personal responsibility and personal accountability. Most graduated from high school and could read, write and work mathematical equations. No matter how poor or how illiterate, Americans worked to put food on the table. But after Lyndon Baines Johnson’s “Great Society” erupted with free food, free housing, free medical, food stamps and a host of ‘get something for nothing’, American culture for minorities changed and then, it changed for whites in America, too.
As apathy and tolerance grew, lobbyists and high stakes money changers directed Congress. McNamara cooked up the Vietnam War in 1965. As we sacrificed 58,300 young men, the high class grew even richer and more powerful. Those soldiers became pawns in a money game. No different today in Iraq and Afghanistan!

Gross lack of personal accountability and responsibility
Today, we wage two wars for absolutely no purpose, no resolve, no victory and no end. Our 535 members of Congress, once touting our “war against terror” in Afghanistan, a country without one single jet, helicopter or
missile--now find themselves lost in an immoral morass. None of them possesses the courage to stop the killing. Yet, they continue voting for spending $12 billion a month for two wars while our schools and health care systems collapse from lack of funding.

We face ominous challenges as to water, energy, climate destabilization, foreign debt, consumer debt, education, crime, illiteracy, but our president and Congress run, duck and hide from dealing with it.
Meanwhile, we inject 1.2 million high school dropouts into our society annually along with 2.5 million third world immigrants. AMNESTY ASSURED TO CREATE ADDED ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

A recent Zogby International discovered that, “…people in Mexico think that granting legal status to illegal immigrants would encourage more illegal immigration to the United States. As the top immigrant-sending country for both legal and illegal immigrants, views on immigration in Mexico can provide insight into the likely impact of an amnesty.”
I spent last weekend in Washington, DC meeting with Dr. Steve Camarata and Mark Krikorian at www.cis.org . You may find the results with Dr. Steve Camarata at: Center for Immigration Studies' website.
Among the findings:
• A clear majority of people in Mexico, 56 percent, thought giving legal status to illegal immigrants in the United States would make it more likely that people they know would go to the United States illegally. Just 17 percent thought it would make Mexicans less likely to go illegally.
• Of Mexicans with a member of their immediate household in the United States, 65 percent said a legalization program would make people they know more likely to go to America illegally.
• Two-thirds of Mexicans know someone living in the United States; one-third said an immediate member of their household was living in the United States.
• Interest in going to the United States remains strong even in the current recession, with 36 percent of Mexicans (39 million people) saying they would move to the United States if they could. This is consistent with a recent Pew Research Center poll which found that about one-third of Mexicans would go to the United States if they could. At present, 12 to 13 million Mexico-born people live in the United States.
• An overwhelming majority (69 percent) thought that the primary loyalty of Mexican-Americans (Mexico- and U.S.-born) should be to Mexico. Just 20 percent said it should be to the United States.
• Also, 69 percent of people in Mexico felt that the Mexican government should represent the interests of Mexican-Americans (Mexico- and U.S.-born) in the United States.
• A plurality, 39 percent, of Mexicans thought that in the last year fewer people they know had gone to the United States as illegal immigrants compared to previous years. Only 27 percent thought more had gone.
• A plurality, 40 percent, also thought that in the last year more of the illegal immigrants they know had returned to Mexico compared to previous years. Only 25 percent thought the number returning had fallen.
• Both the bad economy and increased immigration enforcement were cited as reasons fewer people were going to America as illegal immigrants and more were coming back to Mexico.
Krikorian said, “As the nation begins debates the issue of immigration, the perspective of people in Mexico is important because Mexico is the top sending country for both legal and illegal immigrants. In 2008 one of six new legal immigrants was from Mexico and, according to the Department of Homeland Security, 6 out of 10 illegal immigrants come from that country. Asking people in Mexico their views on immigration can provide insight into the likely impact of an amnesty for illegal immigrants and other questions related to immigration.”
Dr. Camarata reported, “This survey is the first to ask people in Mexico if they thought legalizing illegal immigrants in the United States would encourage more illegal immigration. The survey was conducted in August and September of 2009 and consisted of 1,004 in-person interviews of adults throughout Mexico. The findings show that a majority of people in Mexico think that an amnesty would make it more likely that people in Mexico would come to the United States illegally. This is especially true for people who have a member of their households living in the United States. It is important to note that respondents were asked specifically about whether an amnesty would make illegal immigration more likely, not just immigration generally. Other questions in the survey explore attitudes about migration to United States generally, recent trends in migration, and loyalty to the United States.
“The results may give pause to those lawmakers who think that an amnesty/legalization for illegals immigrants would reduce illegal immigration in the future. The findings of this survey indicate that an amnesty would encourage more illegal immigration, at least from Mexico.”
While the political winds blow toward a new amnesty against the American people by the representatives elected to work in their interest, these findings illustrate the human juggernaut Americans face with any amnesty. Demographic projections show Mexico adding 40 million more people to their population by 2050. If they cannot sustain them in 2009, you can bet millions of poor along with other migrants around the world cannot help but see a green light to overload Americans shores with sheer numbers.
With California already sinking into water shortages, air polluted cities, electrical shortages, gridlocked roads and worse—can they survive their projected added 20 million people to hit 58 million in 30 years? Can the USA withstand the projected 70 million immigrants within 30 years?
